By popular demand we have postponed our seminar on saving money through consumption reduction until 21st April, many bursars are so busy at the moment as they reach the end of term and tax year. A great many were keen to come along and find out more about sustainability and using less energy, and we are delighted that the new date is proving to be more convenient for everyone.

There are still some places available on the day. It would be of interest to senior staff responsible for eco issues and budgets – heads, deputy heads, bursars, estate bursars or school equivalents. Beginning at 9am on 21st April at The Victory Services Club in London, the cost is £150 +VAT per delegate, including lunch, with 2nd delegate from the same school half price (they even still get lunch!).

We have some great speakers including Richard Brent who is bursar of St Faith’s School, a school that has won awards for energy and waste management schemes. He says he is living the green dream and is enthusiastic about sharing his knowledge with other schools. We also have Jenny Burrett who is Head of Felsted Prep School and IAPS leader for Education for Social Responsibility. Her school is committed to embedding sustainability and the whole school community is involved.

Key suppliers of the relevant technology will be available to answer questions on the pros and cons of different options and to share their expertise.
